American Craft Beer Week at Island Brewing Company, May 12-18th
(Carpinteria, CA) – Fun, frivolity, and the fundamentals of fresh beer will be in abundance May 12 – 18th as Island Brewing Company joins thousands of craft breweries across the nation in celebrating American Craft Beer week. The week is a national celebration of the American craft beer revolution and a chance for breweries to showcase the advantages of locally brewed beer.
Island Brewing Company will be hosting events each day of the week geared towards celebrating craft beer culture and community:
Monday: Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament 6-8:30
Tuesday: Beer Trivia Night 7-8:30
Taco Tuesday 5-8
Wednesday: Aloha Wednesday 6-9. Aloha shirt competition.
Thursday: Brewer’s Appreciation Night
Blending Competition 6-9 pm
Georgia’s Smokehouse Food Truck 6-9
Friday: VIP Tasting of Archived Beers 6-8
Saturday: Live Music – “Afishnsea The Moon” and Brewery Tours 2 and 4 pm
Sunday: Beer Bingo 6-8:30 and Brewery Tours 2 and 4 pm
Cask Tapping all week long – Falconers Flight Dry-Hopped West Coast White IPA, Scotched Oak Jubilee and Thai IPA with Lemongrass, Ginger and Basil.
“This is one of our favorite weeks of the year,” says owner and brewer Paul Wright. “It’s a great chance to connect with our friends on the other side of the bar, make new ones, and spread some of the great things that are happening in the craft beer industry as a whole.”
