WORLD-CLASS LIBATIONS COME “FROM THE BARREL” AND TO THE CENTRAL COAST ON APRIL 4

An Evening of Rare Beers, Bourbons and Ports; Portion of Proceeds Benefits Woods Humane Society

Paso Robles, CA—One of the Central Coast’s best-kept and tastiest event secrets is set to return, as Firestone Walker Brewing Company once again hosts its annual “From The Barrel” evening at the historic Santa Margarita Ranch on April 4.

From The Barrel is a celebration of craft libations born from the barrel, including rare beers, bourbons, rums and ports by leading producers such as Woodford Reserve, Jack Daniels, Russian River Brewing Company, Sandeman, Boulevard Brewing Co., Midnight Moon and many others.

The event also features live music as well as food provided by select Central Coast restaurants, including Artisan, Windows on The Water, Novo and others.

“This is an epic yet intimate gathering of some of the finest producers from around California and the nation,” said Jamie Smith, Firestone Walker’s marketing commander. “Barrels have always played a role in our brewing process, and this event is all about showcasing the role of barrels in making world-class libations.”

From The Barrel commemorates the passage of the Cullen-Harrison Act on April 7, 1933, legalizing beer sales and helping pave the way for the repeal of Prohibition. Guests are accordingly encouraged to don their most dapper 1920s attire (or hipster equivalent).

A portion of the event’s proceeds benefits Woods Humane Society, an organization dedicated to the humane treatment of local animals in need of care and a place to call home. This volunteer-run organization depends on funding from sponsorships, donations and grants in order to help out our four legged friends.
